Geronimo Lions Club
Geronimo Lions Club is a service organization dedicated to helping serve the needs of the Geronimo and Seguin communities. The Geronimo Lions Club was chartered on May 22, 2007 at the Agriculture Education and Heritage Center (Red Barn) on Cordova Road. Our meetings take place on the first and third Thursdays of each month starting at 6:30 am.
Our group has been active in helping serve the Navarro Independent School District, Geronimo Volunteer Fire Department, The Agriculture Education and Heritage Center. We have also contributed to the Seguin Christian Cupboard, Seguin Womens Shelter, Navarro Education Foundation, Navarro 4-H, and Stuff the Bus.
The community Fall Festival, reorganized through the efforts of the Geronimo Lions Club, is now part of our Fall activities. This awesome event includes food, fun, games and booths. It is an excellent opportunity to help the youth of Geronimo. Proceeds from the event go to numerous clubs and organizations in the Geronimo area.
The Tour de Pecan Bike Ride is an annual event newly sponsored by the Geronimo Lions Club. The bike ride is held in conjunction with the Pecan Fest Heritage Days which take place in Seguin and surrounding areas. Proceeds from the bike ride benefit the service projects and scholarship fund our organization supports.
